How to Make an Easter Egg Tree

Things You'll Need
- Coffee can
- Styrofoam block, sand or small rocks
- Tree branches
- 12 raw eggs
- Easter egg dye, markers or paints
- String
- Glue
- Construction paper

Place either a piece of Styrofoam, some sand or small rocks into a coffee can. Ensure that you use enough to provide a stable anchor for your Easter egg tree branches. Insert the tree branches into the anchor material.

Make a small hole in both ends of the eggs and blow out the yolk and egg whites. Use egg dye, markers or paint to decorate each eggshell. Ensure that the Easter eggs dry completely.

Glue short loops of string to the narrow end of each Easter egg. Let the glue dry, then hang each egg from the branches in the coffee can.

Decorate your coffee can with construction paper. Use paint and markers to design the cover and attach it to the can with glue.

You can paint the branches of your Easter egg tree or you can leave them natural.
If you use the Styrofoam block as your anchor, you can paint it before you put it into the coffee can.
