Step 1
Talk to your friends and decide who wants to go on Spring Break. Have everyone talk to their parents to make sure they can go.
-
Step 2
Set your budget per person. It helps if you know in advance how much each of you is willing to spend.
-
Step 3
Do your research online. Look for spring break travel destinations that look like fun. Take into account whether you need a passport to get there. Some of you may not have one and will have to apply.
-
Step 4
Find out what deals travel companies are offering. Go to their websites. Many offer incentives to book by winter including free meals and drinks.
-
Step 5
Compare the packages to each other. Packages that include airfare, airport and hotel transfers, accommodations and taxes are the best bet because you won't be socked with random fees. Itemize what each package breaks down to, so you can see if it's truly the best deal.
-
Step 6
Look into the history of the travel company. Check it out with the Better Business Bureau to make sure it's legit.

on 8/25/2008 Consider keeping your trip within the United States for safety considerations, and also for value as you can drive yourself to the destination instead of adding on an expensive plane ticket. South Padre Island, Texas, Panama City Beach, Florida, and spring break ski trips to Colorado all represent a tremendous (and safe) value here in the US - Inertia tours Chad...OUT!
