How to Open a Daycare
The daycare industry is booming, and will continue to do so as the financial demands make working parents the standard. Everyone has seen well run daycares and, unfortunately, daycares that no child should be placed in. Opening a quality daycare center can be not only a profitable experience but a boon to the neighborhood as well.

1
Research your local government requirements that relate to opening a daycare center. There are a variety of rules and regulations you will need to meet. Knowing them ahead time allows you to create a daycare with those in mind, rather than trying to restructure your business later.
-
2
Open an in home babysitting service. This limits your expenses while it provides you with a client base. Later, you may have the experience you need to open a traditional daycare center. Some people are so successful with this that they choose to stay at the home babysitting level.
-
-
3
Take CPR and first aid classes to insure that you are able to handle any emergencies. Keep a first aid kit filled and periodically check for expired ointments and burn creams.
-
4
Purchase toys, games and puzzles, keeping in mind that kids need to practice large and small motor skills. The best part of daycare or babysitting is having fun with the kids.
-
5
Arrange for safe sleeping areas for the kids in your care. Remember that cribs should be free of mobiles, bumpers and overly fluffy bedding.
-
6
Plan eating locations as well as meal plans. Research nutritional needs and ways to arrange colored food to make meals and snacks more attractive to children.
-
7
Set up a good accounting system and advertise your new babysitting business. Before you know it, you'll be on your way.

godinluc- that's really interesting, but I think it's wrong of you to join eHow just so you can leave the same comment on every single article written about toys, just to advertise your discovery toys business. Please write your own articles instead of spamming. -
