Negril boasts seven miles of white sandy beaches along with extraordinary night life. Imagine it now. You're cliff diving or parasailing by day, partying by night. That's possible if you spring break in Negril, Jamaica. It's a beautiful destination. You won't find any skyscrapers. There are no buildings higher than the nearest palm tree.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Apply for your passport as soon as possible. You need it to travel to Jamaica. With new passport regulations, it could take several weeks to get it in the mail.

  2. Step 2

Choose your hotel based on what activities you want to do. You'll want to be close to everything, so you're not worrying about transportation. Negril Oasis dedicates half of its hotel to spring breakers, with more than 600 rooms.

  3. Step 3

Decide if you want to stay at an all-inclusive hotel. Oasis Negril, for instance, has more than ten bars and restaurants and it's 100 percent all-inclusive. That means all drinks, meals and water sports are included.

  4. Step 4

Look for spring break packages. Tour companies offer group packages that include hotel rooms, a meal plan, activities and transportation.

  5. Step 5

Plan your activities. Sure there's sitting on the beach and dancing the night away, but there are plenty of other things to do in Negril. You can explore in a 4WD vehicle, go snorkeling, river tubing or horseback riding, just to name a few activities.

  6. Step 6

Read up on Negril nightlife. Bars and clubs are scattered throughout Negril. Risky Business is a favorite hot spot that has become known as the Spring Break Capital of Jamaica.

  7. Step 7

Book your flight as early as possible. You'll fly into Montego Bay, Jamaica then travel by ground to Negril. Consider changing your travel dates to weekdays to save money.

Tips & Warnings
  • Pack your sunscreen. The beaches in Negril get very hot and you'll easily burn.
  • Don't confuse meal plans offered by some tour companies with all-inclusive resorts. It's not the same thing.
