If you are interested in the travel industry and still attend college, then a position as a Spring Break campus rep may be the right job for you. A campus rep markets and sells Spring Break packages for a travel company. In return, you can earn money or work towards getting a free Spring Break vacation.

Find a travel company that hires campus representatives. The easiest way to do this is to research Spring Break travel companies online. Student City and Spring Break Travel.com both hires campus reps.

Log onto the travel site and fill out an application for the position. You need to provide basic information about yourself as well as school information. A campus rep must work on the campus that they attend.

Go through the hiring process. A rep from the company will contact you and give you additional information that you need to become a campus rep. They are also going to provide you with the sales materials that you need.

Find out the commission rate for each package that you sell. It is likely to fall in the $30 to $50 range. Also, you earn points that can be put towards earning a free trip.

Work with a regional manager to set sales goals. Once you are hired as a campus rep, you are assigned a manager. The manager can help you sell the vacation packages and generate interest.

Each company has their own incentive package. On average, 15 vacation packages will need to be sold in order for the campus rep to get a free vacation.
Remember to find out your campus's rules about solicitation before you become a campus rep. You don't want to violate any of the policies while selling the Spring Break trips.
