Go to your local bike shop in order to find the correct size and type of pipes to install on your Vulcan. You can order them there, or you can get them online. Choose the style you want. You can get aftermarket pipes for the Vulcan with a variety of different tips and in a variety of different styles. Also, decide whether or not you want straight pipes or baffled pipes.

Take off the old Pipes. You'll need to get out your ratchet and socket set. You may need more tools depending on how the factory pipes are installed on your Kawasaki.

Follow the instructions included with your pipes. Find a friend to help. You may need help holding them in place while you bolt them on. Enjoy your new look and sound. You may notice a slight decrease in gas mileage; however, you'll see a slight boost in performance, too. Enjoy.

Before you install the new pipes, it is crucial that you re-jet your carburator/s. Ask your retailer about which jet kit to purchase. Failure to do so will cause the pipes to burn.
