How to Celebrate Bizarre March Holidays

There are real life holidays that most of Americans have never heard of. Many of these holidays have been signed by the President of the United States. Americans need an excuse to take a break and celebrate something different or silly, so here are a few reasons.

        Get out of the house on March 1 and celebrate National Pig Day by visiting a farm or forgoing bacon and ham for a day. This may be a difficult feat for the carnivores out there, but have no fear as there is another bizarre March holiday you can celebrate the same day.

        Celebrate Peanut Butter Lover's Day as an alternative to Step 1 on March 1. Party it up with an elephant outfit and an extra large bag of peanuts. Make peanut butter pine cones with birdseed and share this bizarre holiday with the birds.

        Eat a whole bag of potato chips on March 14 for National Potato Chip Day. If you were looking for an excuse to not just eat one salty chip, here it is. Go ahead and indulge. Although this was not created by a legislative act, it is a highly celebrated holiday.

        Get to work on March 23 with National Organize Your Home Office Day. Wake up early and get to work. Take everything off shelves, desks and any other flat surface. Put it in the middle of the room and begin to organize. Buy crates, files and new sorters for all those paper clips. Label each container and start sorting. Place like things together and then place them back on the shelf. Don't forget this is a holiday.

Involve the kids and family for a fun filled bizarre March holiday.
