Instructions
  1. Step 1

Think about the song you are writing and what you hope to accomplish. Perhaps you are telling a story. Determine the theme, the plot and how you want the story to play out. It may help to draw a quick sketch of what you envision.

  2. Step 2

Write lively, uplifting songs for everyone to enjoy. Children will more than likely be the ones listening and singing along to the Easter bunny songs. Be sure you write short and simple lines that are easy to understand and can be sung by children of all ages.

  3. Step 3

Introduce other characters if appropriate. Describe the surrounding, such as flowers, Easter baskets, bees, butterflies and trees. Rhyming words are also fun with sing alongs. For example words that may rhyme are bunny, funny, sunny and honey.

  4. Step 4

Set your Easter bunny songs to familiar tunes to make them easy to learn. Make them interactive by adding directions for children to hop. Accompany your songs with hand motions. Use repeating choruses to encourage kids to sing along.

  5. Step 5

Write songs that are creative, enthusiastic and possibly even consist of various teaching methods. The song can be fun yet educational at the same time. Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division can easily be included when writing the song.
