Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Decide on the plot of the story, as well as the theme and names of the characters. Write it all down if need be and rehearse before the actual telling of the story.
Step2
Prepare a bunny costume, or perhaps make some bunny ears and paint some whiskers and a pink nose on your face. More than likely you will be telling your story to a child or a group of children and they will be sure to enjoy your painted face.
Step3
Start at the beginning. Introduce the characters, paying special attention to the main character, which should be the Easter bunny. Describe what the bunny looks like and what he or she is setting out to accomplish.
Step4
Produce visuals such as props and set designs. These may be simple designs made from cardboard or posterboard. Maybe have an Easter basket nearby filled with fake eggs and grass.
Step5
Tell the story as you know it, showing creativity with your voice during various sections of the story. Introduce the other characters. As the climax comes near, demonstrate excitement watching the children's faces as you proceed.
Step6
End the story with a happy ending. Perhaps ask children what they think should have happened or maybe they can offer another scenario. Be sure the story is lively and leaves the audience with a happy feeling.
Step7
Draw Easter bunny faces as a fun way to end any Easter bunny story. Perhaps paint each others faces and then everyone take turns telling their own story.
