3. Compare prices of the T-ball equipment in the store you visit. You may also want to compare various stores' product selection and prices. Be sure you purchase a well-made glove, a bat and a batting tee that is durable and will last during the T-ball season.

4. Know the difference between T-ball and baseball equipment. T-ball is for young children, ranging in ages from 4 to 6. There are bats, balls and gloves designed especially for this age group.
