Instructions

Craft Baby Chicks
-
1
Pour the paint in a small, shallow container and paint the beads. Once the paint is dry, fold a pipe cleaner in half and place one end of the feather in the folded area of the pipe cleaner.
-
2
Fit the small wooden bead over the pipe cleaner's other end and move the bead up to cover the end of the feather.
-
-
3
Slide the 25-millimeter bead onto the pipe cleaner until it touches the smaller bead serving as the chick's head, and twist its ends to create feet for the chick.
-
4
Draw eyes and a beak on the chick's face with the pen.
-
5
Create several chicks and then place the decorations on your mantle or on a cake stand along with some Easter grass in the center of your Easter dinner table.
Make a Door Decoration
-
6
Cut a rabbit, basket, flower or another Easter-themed shape out of the construction paper using the scissors.
-
7
Roll the colored Easter eggs on a small plate to break the shells into penny-sized pieces.
-
8
Turn the shells over and squeeze some glue on the back of each piece.
-
9
Press the eggshell pieces onto the construction paper cutout to design a colorful mosaic decoration.
-
10
Punch a small hole into the top of the decoration once the glue has dried and hang it on a door.
Design a Colorful Table Decoration
-
11
Place the small vase within the large vase.
-
12
Pour jelly beans into the large vase. Ensure that the jelly beans come all the way to the top of the large vase and that no jelly beans fall into the small vase.
-
13
Add water to the small vase and then arrange the spring flowers inside the small vase.
-
14
Arrange Easter grass and colorful plastic eggs around your jelly bean vase for a pretty Easter table decoration.

Tips & Warnings
Consider substituting colorful hard candy pieces instead of jelly beans.
Ensure that you do not break the pieces of eggshell into tiny pieces, because they are difficult to glue to the construction paper.
