After your eBay auction ends you will need to send your winning bidder an invoice. This is especially important to do when you have auction winners that are relatively new to eBay buying. New eBay customers might not know how to check out and pay for their item without an emailed invoice.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Log into your eBay Seller's Account and go to your "My eBay" page.

  2. Step 2

Click on the "Sold" link under the title of "All Selling." You will find this on the left side of the page under "My eBay Views."

  3. Step 3

Locate the item that you need to send an invoice for.

  4. Step 4

Choose "Send Invoice" from the drop down menu to the right of the auction title in the "Action" column.

  5. Step 5

Fill out the required fields. If you have the eBay shipping calculator set up for your auction the shipping charges to the customers zip code will have already been calculated and filled out. If you do not have the calculator on the auction you will need to determine and type in the shipping costs. There is also a field on the invoice to enter payment instructions and add a personal note.

  6. Step 6

Review the invoice for accuracy and then click the "Send Invoice" button at the bottom of the page.

Tips & Warnings
  • To send an invoice this way you need to accept PayPal or have eBay's payment system turned on. To turn on eBay's payment system click on "Preferences" under "My eBay Views" and choose the change button. Tick on the "Show the Pay Now Button in all my listings" and submit your change.
