How to Become a Chippendale Dancer

If you dream of women screaming in excitement and swooning for you, you may want to consider a career as a Chippendale dancer. You'll need to be a man, good looking, in good shape and not have a problem dancing for the women. In order to become a Chippendale dancer, you'll need to follow a few steps to be given a try out.

Instructions

1. Fill out the online application. You'll find the application at the official Chippendale's website under the "Company Information" and then the "Recruitment" button. The application will ask you much of the regular job information you'll find for other careers including your personal information.

2. Choose which position you'll be applying for. You can choose between a regular Chippendale dancer, an MC/vocalist or an ensemble member. The official website has a description of each and all positions generally include some dancing.

3. Submit a picture of yourself with the application. You'll want to be sure that it's a good photo as looks are important. The company doesn't require a professional photo, but you may want to consider having one done for the best results.

4. Audition for the position. Auditions are held the first Tuesday of each month at the Chippendale Theatre. The time for the auditions is generally 6:30 pm, but you should call to confirm the time and place.

5. Bring along your resume and a picture to the audition. You'll need to be prepared to learn a short choreographed routine and perform it during your audition.

6. Accept the job offer to become a Chippendale dancer if you pass all requirements and are accepted. You may work in one of the Chippendale theaters or you may be placed with the traveling show.
