Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Pick a field trip destination by choosing a place that caters to the ages in your playgroup. Youth museums, water parks, mini-golf centers, bowling alleys and kid entertainment complexes like Chuck E. Cheese plan and organize activities for young children.
Step2
Call the place you've chosen and find out if they offer group rates and special activities. Find out if certain ages are admitted free and verify directions if the place isn't local. Make the field trip date at least two weeks away from when you contact the place.
Step3
Send an email or call the members of the playgroup. Let them know when and where the field trip is, how much it costs, if you're meeting beforehand so everyone can drive together and the latest date to RSVP.
Step4
Have one person in charge of collecting admission money. Playgroup members can mail their money to the person or give it to them at playgroup meetings.
Step5
Meet at the prearranged time and place. Take a headcount and make sure you have everyone's money. Advise them they should stay together for the majority of the field trip.
Step6
Arrive at your destination and obtain any schedule or agenda arranged for your playgroup. Let everyone know any special instructions and enjoy the field trip.
