How to Play Blitz
If you have never played blitz before, you don't know what you're missing. Blitz is a very popular and enjoyable card game. Blitz can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Add this game to your weekly card lineup.

Begin with a standard deck of 52 cards.

Shuffle the deck of cards well.

Deal the cards. Give one card to each player beginning on your left and working around to yourself.

Continue dealing cards until each player has three cards.

Place the remaining deck of cards down in the center. Turn over the top card making it visible to all players.

Begin play by having the player to the left of the dealer go first. This player either picks up the visible card or takes one card from the deck. Player then discards one card.

Play continues in the same manner with each player either picking up the visible card or taking one card from the deck.

Strive for 31 points. Knock on the table when you think you have the highest hand. You are not allowed to take a card when you knock.

Allow each remaining player to go one more time each after a player knocks. When each player has gone one last time, every player lays down their hand.

Say "Blitz" and place down your cards if you get an ace and two face cards or a ten of the same suit.

Have each player start with three dollar bills or three quarters if you want to play for money. At the beginning of each new hand, each player puts one coin in the pot. The winner keeps the pot. When a player has no coins left, the player is "on his honor," which means he will be out if he doesn't win that hand.

Tips & Warnings
You need at least two players to play Blitz.
A player can knock on his very first turn if he thinks he has a good hand.
A hand totaling 18 or greater is considered a good starting hand.
