MSM cream is believed to be effective treatment for pain caused by arthritis, and when MSM is mixed with eucalyptus and camphor, it can be especially effective as a topical cream to ease aching joints and muscles. As an added benefit, MSM cream will also moisturize and soothe dry and cracked skin.

  • 1.5 oz. avocado oil
  • 3 oz. beeswax

  • ½ oz. menthol crystals
  • 2 cups water
  • ¼ oz. citric acid
  • 1 oz. eucalyptus essential oil
  • ½ oz. lavender essential oil
  • 1 oz. camphor essential oil
  • ½ oz. capsicum powder
  • 3 oz. MSM powder

Step1
Put the emu oil, avocado oil, beeswax and stearic acid in a saucepan over medium heat.
Step2
Remove the saucepan from the heat, stir in the menthol crystals and stir until the crystals are dissolved.
Step3
Place the water in a glass bowl and stir in the citric acid. Stir in the menthol crystal mixture and blend it completely with a hand mixer or blender. Add the essential oils and continue to mix until they are blended.
Step4
Blend in the capsicum powder and then mix in the MSM powder. Allow it to cool and thicken. If it isn't thick enough, add a little more melted beeswax.
