If you have always dreamed of being a cowboy on the farm then you can start by purchasing a cattle ranch. This day and age a true cowboy owns cattle of some sort. Follow these steps to buy a cattle ranch.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Locate the cattle ranch that you want to buy. This can be done with the help of a real estate agent or by searching the local newspaper and online real estate agencies and auction sites. You will have many to choose from all varying in price, location and size.

  2. Step 2

Apply for a loan on the cattle ranch of your choice. Try to get pre-qualified. This will help when you're putting in an offer to buy the cattle ranch. If you know how much money you're approved to use for making the purchase then there will be less time wasted waiting for the entire process to be completed.

  3. Step 3

Place an offer to buy the cattle ranch with the owners or real estate agent that is representing the owners. The offer should be in writing so there will be no discrepancies.

  4. Step 4

Wait for the offer to be reviewed by the owners. Once they have looked it over they get the choice to either approve or deny your offer to buy their cattle ranch.

  5. Step 5

Start the transferring of the cattle ranch with the owners once they have accepted your offer to buy. The county recorders office will need to be notified as well. Your bank will pay the owners for the cattle ranch and you will then have a bank loan against the property. The bank will hold the title until the entire debt to them is paid in full. Your mortgage company or bank will assist you with any paperwork that needs to be completed before transferring ownership of the cattle ranch to you.
