Smaller children can also enjoy this craft with a little bit of help. Custom make these little critters by choosing paint colors that match your decor. It takes about an hour to complete each bunny.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Large round wooden bead
  • Small, round, wooden bead
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Craft paint
  • Paint brush
  • Fine tipped permanent marker
  • Mini pom-pom
  • Craft glue
  1. Step 1

Paint 1 large and 1 small bead with acrylic paint. Paint both beads for each bunny in the same color.

  2. Step 2

Form a color coordinating pipe cleaner into a rounded W. Set the pipe cleaner aside.

  3. Step 3

Slide the large bead onto the pipe cleaner. Shape the pipe cleaner at the bottom to form feet.

  4. Step 4

Slide the small bead on the pipe cleaner for the head. Adjust the pipe cleaner at the top to form ears.

  5. Step 5

Use craft glue to attach a mini pom-pom to the back of the bottom bead for the tail.

  6. Step 6

Use a fine tipped permanent marker to draw a mouth, nose, whiskers and eyes on the bunny.

Tips & Warnings
  • Glue miniature googly eyes on the face instead of drawing the eyes.
  • Create several bunnies quickly by crafing them in an assembly line.
  • Use craft glue to attach the beads together for a sturdier bunny.
