Things You'll Need:
- Template
- Red construction paper
- Pink construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue or stapler
- Patience

Step 1
Visit the Family Fun website to download a template for the basket. Print the template off on one piece of pink paper and one piece of red paper.

Fold the printed templates in half. Precisely cut along the dotted lines. Extend the cuts a quarter of an inch beyond the dotted lines.

Place the two halves at right angles so that the bumps in the cuts are both facing away from you.

Begin weaving by sliding the furthest strip on the left hand side through the farthest strip on the right hand side. Slide the right hand strip farthest away through the next left hand strip.

Weave the left hand strip, third away from you, through the farthest right hand strip. Weave the farthest right hand strip through second farthest strip on the left hand side.

Step 6
Weave the last left hand strip through the farthest right hand strip. Slide the right hand strip of paper towards the curve until the pieces are snugly together. Weave the remaining pieces in the same manner.

Step 7
Cut a strip of paper that is one inch by six inches. Staple or glue the strip of paper on for a handle.
