Combine red clay and white clay until the mixture has a swirled look. Use a rolling pin to roll the clay to a one-eighth of an inch thickness.

Use a miniature heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut a heart from the clay. Have a parent cut a heart shape with a sharp knife if there is no cookie cutter.

3
Make a small hole in the top of the heart using a tooth pick. Bake the clay according to the clay manufacturer's instructions.

4
Glue aluminum foil to both sides of a 3-inch by 4-inch piece of card stock. Let the glue dry thoroughly.
-
5
Draw an oversized key on the aluminum foil. Cut the key out with scissors.

6
Cover both sides of the key with clear contact paper. Cut the key out. Use a hole punch to make a hole in the top of the key.
-
7
Slide both small rings on the key ring. Attach the key to one ring. Wrap floral wire through the hole on the heart and attach it to the second ring on the key ring.
