If you are looking for a place to keep a lucky penny close by at all times then you can benefit from a hidden pocket in your socks. It's a small enough area to keep small tokens of good luck. Follow these steps to learn how to sew a hidden pocket in socks.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Pick material that matches your socks.

  2. Step 2

Flip the sock inside out. Measure the inside width across the ankle of the sock. Cut the material to match that width. Make the length no longer than 2 inches.

  3. Step 3

Secure the fabric to the sock. Pin 3 sides of the fabric with straight pins. Leave the top side unpinned to use as the pocket opening.

  4. Step 4

Stitch the 3 pinned sides of the material to the sock. Make sure the stitching is a small and tight, so that a tiny hidden item cannot fall out.

  5. Step 5

Turn the sock right side out. Put the sock on your foot and place a small token of good luck in the hidden pocket. Walk around the room and make sure that the stitching is going to hold in place so you don't lose the good luck charm.
