How to Unpack a PowerPoint Presentation

If you have copied a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation to load on another computer, you will have to unpack the presentation once you get to the other computer. Follow the steps below to unpack complete presentation and components when you are ready.

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2003

Step1
Open "My Computer" or "Windows Explorer" and click on the drive where you have copied the PowerPoint presentation.
Step2
Double-click the file named "pngsetup.exe" or "pngsetup" to open the "Pack and Go Setup" dialog box and begin the unpacking process.
Step3
Click "Yes" on the "Pack and Go Setup" dialog box to start the presentation immediately. If you wish to unpack the presentation now but begin the presentation later, click "No" in the "Pack and Go Setup" dialog box to let the presentation run later.
Step4
Double-click the PowerPoint file and run your presentation.
