Join your school newspaper and write about as much fashion as possible. When the opportunity arrives, ask to become the fashion editor. Profile unknown designers and cover fashion shows. This allows you to create your own style as well as make contacts in the fashion industry.
-
Step 3
Find a job after graduation working for a magazine or a newspaper. You may have to work up to the fashion editor position, but try to get into a job where you are interacting with the fashion world.
