1
Pick the type of wildflowers you want to use. Wildflowers are found in many different varieties and colors. Choose to go with a couple of different types or choose an array of various flowers for variety.
-
2
Select the flowers you want in a bridal bouquet. Once you have done this, choose one or two main colors for the bridesmaid's dresses.
-
3
Decide on flowers for the veil or to put in your hair. Many brides choose a circlet of flowers like a crown, but one or two flowers placed in the hair is equally flattering.
-
4
Choose invitations and thank-you cards that fit your theme. There are many choices to select from. Some printers allow you to design your own cards if you wish.
-
5
Pick a florist or pick the flowers yourself. Picking the flowers yourself is fun but takes a lot of time. Another option is to grow your own wildflowers in your garden or yard. Obviously, this only works if you have a longer time to plan the wedding.
-
6
Decorate the tables for the reception with darker colored tablecloths to bring out the lighter colors in the flowers. For fresh-cut flowers, use frosted vases.
-
7
Decorate the chairs by making small bouquets and tying them around the back of the chair with a thin gauze, ribbon or satin fabric.
