Lollipop art is a fun craft project for kids and adults alike. Make lollipop art out of any type of lollipop such as Dum-Dums or Tootsie Roll Pops. This lollipop art design is for a decorative lollipop plant, but lollipop art can be made into anything you or your kids imagine.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Paint and brush
  • 1 small terra-cotta pot
  • Green foam
  • Artificial leaves
  • Hot-glue gun
  • Lollipops
  • Spanish moss
  1. Step 1

Paint the terra-cotta pot with any design you choose. If you are doing this craft with small children, allow them to add their special touch by writing their names or stamping their handprints on the pot.

  2. Step 2

Allow the paint to dry. The time for this step varies depending on the type of paint you use.

  3. Step 3

Place the green foam in the pot. You may have to trim some of the sides of the foam to get it to fit securely. Use green foam inside the pot so it blends with the Spanish moss.

  4. Step 4

Hot-glue the leaves onto the sticks of the lollipops. Do not place the leaves close to the bottom of the sticks. Arrange the lollipops in the pot. "Plant" as many or as few lollipops as you want in the pot.

  5. Step 5

Place the Spanish moss around the base of the lollipop sticks. Be sure to cover the top of the foam well.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not remove the plastic wrapper from the lollipop. The lollipops last longer inside their packaging. The wrappers also keep the lollipops clean and bug-free.
