The Coca Cola 600 is a 600-mile race held each year at Lowe's Motor Speedway. The track is located in Concord, North Carolina. It's always held on Memorial Day weekend and is the longest NASCAR Nextel Cup Race. Past winners include Matt Kenseth, Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Get your tickets as soon as possible. There are three grandstands: the General Motors Grandstand, Chrysler Grandstand and Ford Grandstand. Tickets will run you between $120 and $175, depending on where you want to sit. Call the ticket office at 1-800-455-FANS.
Step2
Book your hotel room. There are discounted hotel rates for Coca Cola 600 race fans. Call 1-877-FAN-ROOM for details.
Step3
Gas up the RV. There is no better way to get into the whole NASCAR experience than to make a weekend of it. There are several camping options at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Five designated camping areas are available with sites starting at $100.
Step4
Read up on the rules. For instance, Lowe's Motor Speedway allows hard and soft-sided coolers, measuring up to 14 inches all around. But you can't bring in glass containers.
Step5
Arrive at Lowe's Motor Speedway early. This will give you plenty of time for pre-race festivities, including tailgating and checking out the displays. There will be a lot of other NASCAR race fans fighting to get in, so allow ample drive time.
