  1. Step 1

Decide whether or not you want to write the ebook. If you have special skills and knowledge that you can offer your audience then by all means, write it yourself. If you do not know how to write an ebook, then research online and find out how to get started. If this option is too intimidating, then you can hire a ghost writer to help you write an ebook.

  2. Step 2

Choose what type of advice or knowledge you want to offer and how it can relate to the topic of your website. For example, if you have a parenting website then you can offer parenting tips for new parents or an ebook based on healthy food for kids.

  3. Step 3

Ask yourself what will be most beneficial for your audience. You can provide tips and advice, a story or general advice and experiences. An ebook does not have to be that long and can be as small as 15 pages or so. Look for questions in online forums dealing with your theme and see what answers people are searching for.

  4. Step 4

Choose how you want to market your ebook on the web. You can sell your ebook on Ebay or other ebook re-seller websites. You can market it on your own by building a page on your website that is directly for this ebook. If this book is free and helpful, you will find that word of mouth does wonders.

  5. Step 5

Post a link to your ebook page on free websites like Craigslist and kijiji.com. Post in areas that relate to your websites theme such as travel, parenting, cooking and more. Get the word out about your free or small fee ebook.
