Monopoly is a game of buying and selling property that becomes very competitive in some circles. When you set up the Monopoly board, you need to determine who will act as the banker and who will use which game pieces. After that, setting up the Monopoly board is rather easy if you follow the correct procedures.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Determine who will be the banker and who will use which pieces. The game of Monopoly utilizes play money that needs to be handled by one player who is acting as the banker. Sometimes the banker is also a player in the game, but that's not necessary.
Step2
Place all the tokens that are being used as playing pieces on the spot marked "Go" on the Monopoly board.
Step3
Shuffle all the Community Chest and Chance cards, and place them face down on their respective spots near the center of the board.
Step4
Distribute $1,500 in Monopoly money to each player to start the game. Each player gets five $1, $5 and $10 bills, six $20 bills and two $50, $100 and $500 bills. Each player is responsible for organizing his own money. The remainder of the money goes to the bank.
Step5
Organize the Monopoly title cards. The banker usually handles these cards and distributes them to those who purchase their respective properties.
Step6
Place the dice in the center of the board. Each player rolls the dice, with the one who rolls the highest number going first.
