How to Acquire Reward Objects in Sims 2

In Sims 2, it doesn't just take your Sim's hard-earned Simoleons to get beneficial objects. There are reward objects available as well and they can be acquired through aspiration points and career advancement. Some of these objects are designed to make your Sim's life much easier.

Instructions

1. Fulfill your Sim's wants to rack up aspiration points. You can find his wants on the control panel to the right of his picture. Hover your mouse over each want item to see how many aspiration points you will get for completing it.

2. Look at which aspiration reward objects you are eligible to buy after you've gotten some aspiration points. Click on the treasure chest icon on your control panel and view the objects that are highlighted. The objects that are grayed out are things for which you don't have enough aspiration points to purchase.

3. Buy the aspiration reward object by clicking and dragging it onto your Sim's lot. She can begin using the reward object immediately when you go back to live mode.

4. Click on the desk image in the reward objects panel to view career reward objects. Depending on what career track your Sim is in, he can get a reward object once he reaches a certain level on that career track.

5. Put the available career object on your Sim's lot once it is available. Get career reward objects by reaching level four in the military and criminal tracks. You must reach level five in the slacker, politics, business and athletic tracks to get those reward objects. Reach level six in the law enforcement, culinary and science tracks to acquire career reward objects.

Tips & Warnings

• Reward objects have no monetary value, so you will get nothing if you sell it.
