How to Earn Contracts in NASCAR 08

NASCAR 08 is a great way for NASCAR fanatics or casual fans to experience life on the track. Contracts in NASCAR 08 are how you earn new cars that you can use in Owner Mode in the Chase. Here is how you can earn contracts in the NASCAR 08 video game.

Instructions

1. Start a career in the Chase mode. You will be immediately put into a mini-game at Daytona International Speedway that you will have to complete to start your Chase career. Once you earn your starter's license, you can choose your car's manufacturer and colors. After that, you can start earning licenses.

2. Earn the necessary license for the contract. Each contract requires that you earn a license before you can compete for the contract. Licenses consist of mini-games like time trials and pack navigation. You must complete 6 licenses: Super Speedway, Speedway, Short Track (Car of Tomorrow), Speedway (C.O.T.), Road Course (C.O.T.) and Super Speedway (C.O.T.).

3. Choose the contract that you want to earn. There is one contract that corresponds to each of the licenses you can earn. You do not have to complete the contracts in order, but you do have to have completed the necessary license. Once you start a contract, you must complete it before starting a new contract, or you will sacrifice all of the progress you have made on that contract.

4. Complete the necessary races to earn the contract. Each contract has several races you must complete before you can get the contract and the car. You will receive a target position at the beginning of the race that you must meet or exceed to pass and move on to the next race.

5. Continue to earn all of the contracts and compete in the Owner Mode. Completing all of the contracts will give you an arsenal of vehicles to choose from in Owner Mode.
