Your personal information section on Facebook allows you to display your interests on your Facebook page. You can publicly display your favorite movies, books, TV shows, quotes, activities, and more. After entering your information, you can click on the text inside your profile to find other Facebook members with the same interests.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Log in. Go to the Facebook home page and log in to your account. If you don't have a Facebook account, you can create one in just a few minutes from the Facebook home page.
Step2
Locate the "Edit" tab on the top of your personal Facebook home page. There is a menu bar at the top with four bold options--profile, friends, network and inbox. Next to the profile link there is a link in normal font to edit your profile. Click on this link.
Step3
Locate the personal link. Your basic information will appear on the page. At the top of this section, there are tabs for other, more detailed sections of your profile. Click on the tab that says "Personal."
Step4
Fill in the fields. All the possible fields in which you can enter your personal information will be on the screen. Enter the appropriate interests in the appropriate category. You do not have to enter information for all the categories, and those that are left blank will not appear in your profile. Once you are finished, click "Save changes."
Step5
Review your information. Go to your Facebook profile and make sure that all of your personal information is correct on your profile page.
