If you're planning a trip to the Grand Tetons, be sure to schedule some time for snow tubing. It's a great way to enjoy the outdoors and have fun with your family and friends. Use the information below to learn how to snow tube in the Grand Tetons.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Dress appropriately. Wear a winter coat, gloves and a stocking hat. You'll need winter boots to protect your feet and keep them warm. Remember that some snow tubing parks prohibit hard plastic shoes or ski boots in order to prevent injuries. Make sure your footwear will pass park regulations.
Step2
Determine when the parks are open throughout the year before you go. Most resorts offer snow tubing from November through April.
Step3
Get more information. Contact the snow tubing parks in the communities in and around the Grand Tetons, such as Jackson. Most ski resorts in the area will also have snow tube runs. Find out the hours of operation for each snow tube park.
Step4
Ask if the snow tube park offers special deals or discounts. You may get a better deal if you go during certain times of the year. You may also get a discount if you go with a large group of people.
Step5
Consider making reservations, if possible. Reserving a spot can be especially helpful during extremely busy times of the year.
Step6
Choose the right snow tube runs for you and your family members. Each park will have a range of runs, including fast, exciting runs and slow, mellow runs. If you've never been snow tubing before, try the slower runs first before moving onto the fast ones.
