How to Join a Hunter Jumper Association

Joining a Hunter Jumper Association offers numerous benefits to riders of all ages and experience levels. In addition to receiving better rates at shows, you will also be able to track your accumulated points, receive valuable information and become part of the hunter jumper community. There are a few different ways to join your local association.

  • Computer with Internet access
  • Membership fees
  1. Step 1

    Go to an online search engine. Type in your state and "hunter jumper association" and search.

  2. Step 2

    Click on the link taking you to the local association. Some of the larger states, such as California, will have regional associations, such as Northern, Southern or Central. Select what is most appropriate for you.

  3. Step 3

    Follow the website link(s) to apply for membership. Most are under titles such as "Join" or "Membership."

  4. Step 4

    Complete the application as instructed, making sure to include fees, and return to the address provided.

  5. Step 5

    Find the contact information for your local hunter jumper association in the phonebook or online. Call and request that membership information be sent in the mail.

  6. Step 6

    Join the hunter jumper association at a recognized local horse show. Visit the show office to pay your show fees, and request a membership form at that time.
