How to Date McDreamy

We are all looking for that someone special. A few of us are lucky enough to find that someone early in life or without much effort. The rest of us search church socials, ball games and online dating sites to find the "right one." Follow these steps to date a McDreamy.

1. Be yourself. Most of us try to put our best foot forward, and especially in the beginning of the relationship. However, it is important that your McDreamy gets to know the true you. Be confident and comfortable in your own skin. Your McDreamy will find you utterly irresistible, flaws and all.
2. Keep your eyes open. To date a McDreamy, you must remember not to put your guy on a pedestal. He has flaws just as you do. Accept him for who he is, not the romanticized version of him in your head.
3. Focus on the present. Avoid the tendency to get too far ahead of your relationship's current state. Envisioning yourself in a white dress on your third date simply won't do. To date a McDreamy, enjoy every moment of the now. You don't want to turn into a stage four clinger and scare your guy away.
4. Communicate. Strong relationships are built with open communication. Speak your mind honestly while allowing your McDreamy to do the same.
5. Enjoy yourself. Don't take anything too seriously. Whatever is meant to be will happen. If this McDreamy isn't the one, then look forward to the next candidate.
