You can use a computer for personal tasks, business needs or a combination of the two. You may have started by using a computer for work, and then started using it for pleasure. The following will give you some background on how to use a computer.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Help your business. Computers are handy for all types of business needs. You can create a web page for your company, find new customers, keep track of business expenses and work at home, to name a few.

  2. Step 2

Correspond with family and friends. Keeping up-to-date with relations is a breeze with a computer. Email now not only allows us to easily correspond with our loved ones, but also to receive pictures of all of their activities and even watch our grandchildren grow from a distance.

  3. Step 3

Bring work home with you. Want to get out of the office early, but need to get one more thing accomplished before you go? Don't fret, bring the work home with you and finish it on your home computer. As long as you have the software you need to accomplish your task, you can easily work at home.

  4. Step 4

Play games. Relax while using your computer by downloading some games and playing to your heart's content. Alternatively, play online and it won't cost you anything except your time.

  5. Step 5

Start those courses you've been meaning to take. There are plenty of college courses available online. That degree that always escaped you or just some extra courses you wanted to pick up can be completed whenever you are ready for them.

  6. Step 6

Help your children with their homework. It is easy to do research on the Internet and typing papers are simple with word processing programs. Teach your children that the computer is their friend and help them accomplish their tasks.

  7. Step 7

Shop online. As long as you have an Internet connection and a credit card, you can buy almost anything.
