If you've always wanted to learn to play the electric guitar, or dreamed of performing on stage in front of millions of adoring fans, there's no time like the present to get started. While there's no guarantee you'll eventually play in front of millions of fans or attain rock star status, here are the basics you need to begin playing the electric guitar.
