2. Buy tokens. You must have the exact change to ride the trolley car. Therefore, most people buy tokens to use in lieu of cash. You can buy the tokens in packets, but it does not reduce the cost. You can buy a convenient one-day pass that allows eight trips. There are also discounts available to senior citizens, children, students and others.

3. Look over the schedule. Most trolley cars stop at every corner in their route. To be on the safe side you need to know where to catch the trolley and the time it will arrive.
