Step 1
Ask your local wallpaper shop for sample books that are out of date. Many times, there will be wallpaper with small-scale prints or solids that are suitable for your dollhouse. Also, many hobby shops carry dollhouse supplies such as wallpaper, but it can be expensive.
-
Step 2
Use a toothpaste cap as a planter. It can be spray painted and filled with small bits of moss or air fern.
-
Step 3
Wash the plastic center from a delivered pizza, and paint if you'd like. This makes a great little table.
-
Step 4
Cover a wine cork with fabric and embellish it with tiny trim for a great ottoman.
-
Step 5
Knit or crotchet a rug. This looks like a braided rug and can be made in colors to match your dollhouse decor.
-
Step 6
Cut a small photograph out of a catalog or reduce and photocopy a family photo and frame it with trimmed and painted matchsticks.
-
Step 7
String some clear beads on wire and shape into a "crystal" chandelier or wall sconce. If your dollhouse is wired, you can also wire this with electricity.
