How to Tour Wineries in France
As the world's largest producer of wine, France is home to several wineries throughout its beautiful countryside. Along with sampling vintage wines, wine tours offer visitors a chance to see much more of France than the standard Paris-Louvre-Eiffel Tower tour.

Begin your tour of French wineries in the wine capital of France--Bordeaux. Each June, Bordeaux hosts an annual four-day wine festival. Sample some authentic Bordeaux wine at the Haut-Brion Château or at the neighboring Mission-Haut Brion, two of the most popular wineries in the area.

Move southeast to Provence. Tour the wineries situated along the beautiful French Riviera, including Domaine Sainte Marie, near La Mole.

Drive west to the beautiful Loire Valley, famed for its white wine. Along with touring the wineries of the Loire Valley, visitors can also tour the many royal chateaus and castle in the valley.
