How to be totally rude talking on your cell phone

Incessant talking on one's cell phone breaches the unspoken rules of social etiquette. Yet, many people seem oblivious to these unspoken rules of simple consideration! The inconsiderate cell phone user actually gives up responsibility for themselves while 'they are on the phone!' This makes everyone around them doubly responsible for essentially 'taking care of them' while they are on the phone! And that is the sticking point. We all have too much responsibility for ourselves, and our loved ones without taking on the duty of an inconsiderate cell phone user! Incessant cell phone talking bothers others because it makes other people acutely responsible for the cell phone users forthcoming or lack there of action(s). An example, when another driver notices the driver in front of them is on their cell phone, the non-cell phone driver will become agitated because not only do they have to normally monitor their driving, but also the cell phone user who by not paying full attention, increases the (already prevalent) potential for an accident or something to go seriously wrong.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Lack of a CLUE!
  • A total unawareness of social etiquette.
  • The ability to exercise NO personal responsibility for your actions.
  • The ability to focus only on the cell phone conversation and drive at 20 miles an hour to compensate.
  • Continually fail to practice common decency towards others.

Step1

Continually practice this RUDE and INCONSIDERATE behavior by always talking whenever you get the chance.
Step2
If you are driving with children and talking on the phone good for you! You are training the next generation of 'rude' cell phone users.
AND, your children are competing with a cell phone for your attention which in some ways can be considered a goal or goal driven behavior!
Step3
Talk on the cell phone in the grocery store line! Allow others to cue you along in the line. Let people know right off the bat that you are RUDE and INCONSIDERATE and somehow more important than you really are!

Tips & Warnings

  • Do NOT practice simple acts of kindness.
  • Remember the social contract requires participation by other people, NOT YOU.
  • People do understand the importance of cell phones. They do not understand the importance of your cell phone to you.
  • Cell phone rudeness may be hazardous to your health and those around you, while driving your car.
