Instructions

    • 1

Line a 15-by-10 inch cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Brush the foil with melted butter or spray it with cooking spray and set it aside.

    • 2

Heat the chocolate. Place the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and microwave it uncovered at 70 percent, stirring every 30 seconds until it is smooth. You also can heat the chocolate in a double boiler, stirring constantly until it is completely melted.

    • 3

Spread the melted chocolate onto the prepared cookie sheet and allow it to cool just enough so that it will not melt the jelly beans. Sprinkle the jelly beans on evenly and press them gently into the chocolate.

    • 4

Allow the jelly bean bark to cool and refrigerate it for a couple of hours until it is cold. Lift the foil out of the cookie sheet and break it into pieces.

    • 5

Store the jelly bean bark in an airtight container. This recipe makes about two pounds.
