Children look forward to Easter because of all the fun activities that take place during that time. Kids that still receive Easter baskets from the Easter Bunny are sure to enjoy decorating for his arrival. Take some time the night before Easter to decorate with your child.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Set up egg people. Once you have colored your Easter eggs, you may not know what else to do with them. Dress them up as animals and people using glued on appliqués and leave them next to the snacks that you leave out for the Easter Bunny.
Step2
Make a bunny trail. Create a trail made from construction paper, markers and staples. Let the trail lead to where the Easter baskets are to be placed.
Step3
Place an Easter Bunny wreath on the front door. You can purchase these already constructed or make them at home. Simply glue bunny figures and other Easter memorabilia onto a plain wreath.
Step4
Put Easter window clings on your home. These low cost decorations feature pictures of the Easter Bunny, chicks, Easter eggs and more.
Step5
Plug in an Easter Bunny night-light. As a final decorating touch, let the child use an Easter Bunny night-light in his room. You can find one online at the Traditions web store.

Tips & Warnings

  • Remember to leave a snack for the Easter Bunny as well while decorating. Leave carrots, milk or bunny themed pastries.
  • Ribbons and bows that are Easter themed can also be used while decorating for the Easter Bunny.
