How to Make a Bunny Themed Easter Basket

Since most children love the Easter Bunny, they will certainly be thrilled to have an Easter basket that has a bunny theme. It is easy to make and you will find a surplus of bunny items at area stores during the Easter season.

Instructions

1. Get a bunny basket. To start, find a basket that is shaped like the Easter Bunny. You can fill it with goodies.

2. Purchase all candies that come in a bunny shape. Marshmallow Peeps and chocolate bars are made in bunny form. Jellied candies can also be found in a bunny shape around Easter.

3. Pick out two different colored bunny stuffed animals. Go to a gift shop and find two small bunnies in pastel colors. Purple and yellow are cute colors to consider.

4. Buy one large hollow chocolate bunny. You are going to use this as the center of the bunny themed basket.

5. Put grass on the bottom of the basket. You may wish to add in some carrot shaped candies that can be placed along with the bunnies.

6. Arrange all of the candies in the basket. Put enough in that it is filled, but not overfilled.

7. Place the two bunnies next to the basket. Leave the basket on the table or hide the basket and have the child find it on Easter morning.

Tips & Warnings

• If you are worried about giving your child too much sugar, put in some sugar free candies in the basket. Chances are that your child will not be able to tell the difference.
