Secondary infertility is a term used to describe a woman who was able to naturally conceive in the past but is having difficulty conceiving another child. 3. Rule out medical problems. Fibroids, endometriosis, vaginal infections and pelvic adhesions can all cause secondary infertility. Getting treatment for these issues can sometimes successfully cure infertility.
4. Receive fertility treatments. The specialist will prescribe medications to help you conceive another child. More advanced treatments may be necessary if the medications are not effective.
5. Speak to a therapist. While seeking out treatment for secondary fertility, you may wish to speak to a counselor. A counselor can help you deal with the emotional issues that go along with infertility.
