Step 1
Practice your bondage technique beforehand. Check out the links below for websites offering instructions on proper knot-tying technique. Failure to learn basic knot-tying skills risks the safety of your sub and may lead to injuries.
-
Step 2
Organize your bondage supplies before hand. There's nothing that kills the moment more than having your lover sitting around while you fumble with the tangled ropes. Speaking of rope, make sure you have plenty of it (around six lengths separated and varying in length from 2 to 6 feet), along with any BDSM accessories agreed on by your partner.
-
Step 3
Decide on a safe word before beginning any bondage play. A safe word is a word spoken by the sub that allows his partner to know that he has had enough. Once the word is said, release your partner immediately (no questions asked).
-
Step 4
Set the mood slowly. Bondage play is not meant to be rushed. Try to give your lover a nice massage with sultry music to calm her down before you begin tying her hand and foot. Taking things slowly will also calm your partner's jitters (and yours) regarding what lies ahead.
-
Step 5
Use common sense (in regard to safety) by limiting any one bondage position to 30 minutes and frequently checking your sub for circulation and comfort. In addition, keep a sturdy scissors readily available (for quick escapes) and NEVER leave your bound lover unattended.
-
Step 6
Tease your lover to his heart's content. Blindfold him, tickle him with feathers or just explore his body in any creative way imaginable. Having your lover all bound up will leave him happily at your mercy.
