It penetrates the skin easily, making it an effective carrier for other healing substances, such as vitamin E and apricot oil. Things You'll Need
- 1 cup marshmallow root
- 1 oz. beeswax
- 1 oz. cocoa butter
- 1 oz. shea butter
- 3 1/2 oz. olive oil
- 1 oz. vitamin E oil
- 1 oz. emu oil
- 14 drops tea tree oil
- ½ cup calendula
- 2 tsp. powdered comfrey root
- 2 oz. glycerin
- 1 1/2 oz. emulsifying wax
- ½ oz. stearic acid
- 1/3 oz. citric acid
- Small plastic or glass containers
- 2 heaping tbsp. beeswax
- 2 tbsp. palm oil
- 2 tbsp. emu oil
- 1 tbsp. apricot oil
- 3 tbsp. almond oil
- 1 cup goats milk, warmed
- 36 drops essential oil of your choice
- Small jars

Melt the marshmallow root, beeswax, cocoa butter and shea butter in a saucepan over low heat.

Stir in the olive oil, vitamin E oil, emu oil and tea tree oil.

Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the remaining ingredients. Mix until the ingredients are completely blended.

Pour the cream into containers and allow it to solidify. Use your emu oil cream on cracked and dry hands whenever needed.
Easy Emu Oil Cracked-Skin Balm

Melt the beeswax, emu oil and palm oil in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly.

Heat the apricot oil and almond oil separately in a small saucepan over low heat.

Gradually mix the apricot oil and almond oil into the beeswax mixture.

Slowly add the warmed goats' milk, beating constantly until the mixture cools.

Beat in the essential oils as soon as the mixture starts to thicken.

Put the cream in jars and seal. Use as needed on dry and cracked hands.
