      Start Microsoft FrontPage and open an existing document that contains a table of which you would like to change the properties.

      Change to design view, if necessary, by clicking on the "Design" button on the lower left side of the screen.

      Right-click anywhere on the table you want to change and click "Table Properties" from the menu to open the "Table Properties" dialog box.

      Specify the number of rows and columns you would like to have in the table in the "Size" section of the "Table Properties" dialog box.

      Use the "Layout" section of the "Table Properties" dialog box to change the alignment, float, cell padding, cell spacing, width and height of the table cells.

      Add a different border to the table by setting the size and color under the "Borders" section of the "Table Properties" dialog box.

      Change the background color, specify a background picture and choose other layout tools to finish setting your properties. Click the "OK" on the "Table Properties" dialog box to close the dialog box and apply the table properties to your FrontPage table.

  • To create a table in Microsoft FrontPage, choose the "Table" menu, point to "Insert" and choose "Table..." to open the "Insert Table" dialog box.

  • "Float" is the position of the table in relation to other content on your FrontPage web page.

  • Cell padding is the space between the inside border of a cell and the text inside that cell. Cell spacing is the space between the table border and the border of the cell.
