Things You'll Need
- Grater
- Orange peel
- Lemon peel
- Vodka
- Glass jar with tight fitting lid
- Distilled water
- Measuring cup with pour spout
- Lemon verbena essential oil
- Mandarin essential oil
- Orange essential oil
- Glycerin
- Dark glass bottle with spray spout

Grate finely 1 tbsp. of fresh orange peel and 1 tbsp. of fresh lemon peel.

Measure 3 tbsp. of vodka and pour it into a glass jar. Add the orange and lemon peels and place the lid on the jar. Let the jar stand for one week.

Strain the peels from the vodka after one week. Cheesecloth works great to remove the fine lemon peel.

Combine the vodka and 2 cups of distilled water in a measuring cup with a pour spout. Add five drops of lemon verbena essential oil, 10 drops of mandarin essential oil and 10 drops of orange essential oil to the measuring cup.

Add four drops of glycerin to your citrus body spray. The glycerin will act as a fixative and will ensure that the scent of your body spray lasts as long as possible.

Pour the liquid carefully into a dark glass bottle and secure the lid. Place your citrus body spray in a cool dry location, shaking it once a day, and allow it to settle for two weeks before using.
