How to Make Peony Perfume

Peony perfume has a rare aroma that often comes in a fancy name brand bottle with an even fancier price tag. It is a unique scent that can be worn causally everyday or for romantic nights out. Things You'll Need

• Plastic sheet
• Measuring cup with pour spout
• Distilled water
• Vodka
• Musk essential oil
• Sandalwood essential oil
• Peony essential oil
• Glycerin
• Dark glass bottle with tight fitting lid

Instructions

1. Cover your work surface with a plastic sheet or other protective material. Essential oils and alcohol can damage delicate surfaces, so be sure to protect your work area well and be careful to prevent spills.

2. Clean and dry a measuring cup with a pour spout. Place 2 cups of distilled water and 3 tablespoons of vodka into the measuring cup.

3. Add four drops of musk essential oil, eight drops of sandalwood essential oil and 12 drops of peony essential oil to the measuring cup.

4. Place four drops of glycerin to the peony perfume. Glycerin is a fixative that will help your perfume to retain its beautiful aroma.

5. Stir the perfume and test. Add a few drops of any essential oil that you like, to perfect your unique scent.

6. Pour the perfume carefully into a dark glass bottle with a tight fitting lid. Shake the bottle and place it in a cool dark location. Allow the perfume to settle for at least 12 hours before using.
