Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Walnuts
  • Blender
  • Plain all natural yogurt
  • All natural honey
  1. Step 1

Place 1/4 cup of walnuts in a blender. If you happen to find finely ground walnuts, you can simply mix your facial scrub in a bowl. Otherwise it is best to blend the yogurt and walnuts well to create a smooth facial scrub.

  2. Step 2

Add 1/4 cup of plain all natural yogurt to the blender. Yogurt is the perfect additive to any facial scrub, as it makes the creamy base and works just as hard as the other ingredients. Yogurt has natural antifungal and antibacterial properties, which help to clean the skin gently, ridding it of harmful bacteria and germs. Yogurt is high in lactic acid, known to soothe and soften dry skin, eliminate wrinkles and refine pores.

  3. Step 3

Place 2 tbsp. of all natural honey into the blender. Honey has been used as a curative element in natural remedies for centuries. It is known for its natural antifungal and antibacterial agents, gently cleaning and moisturizing the skin. Honey also helps to reduce inflammation and swelling, reducing dark circles from under the eyes and refining pores, fine lines and wrinkles.

  4. Step 4

Wash your face with warm water and pat dry before applying your yogurt and walnut facial scrub evenly to your neck and face. Massage the facial scrub into your skin, taking advantage of the walnut's exfoliating properties. Allow the mask to set for 15 minutes before rinsing with cool water.
